• 1 large red onion, peeled and sliced (half moon)
• 1 large or 2 medium Fuji or Cox apples, washed, cut into small pieces, pitted and sliced (half moon)
• ½ cup chicken or vegetable soup (extra hand mix if desired)
• ¼ cup (or less) balsamic or apple cider vinegar
• 1 ¼ lbs. Veal liver slices, cut into small pieces, cut into small pieces/pieces (plus chicken liver)
• 3 tablespoons oil or ghee (clarified butter), or use half the oil and half the butter

Make sure there is almost no cooked meat as it will continue to be cooked while being seasoned.

Sauce
